How They’re Made

A workspace with clay coins, carving tools, an open sketchbook with diagrams and notes, and small hand carved stamps with engraved symbols on a wooden board.

The stamps are bisque fired, then used to make the coins themselves, smushed between the front and back stamp of the unfurling fern.

The coins and an interpretive scroll go into the drawstring bag, and voila, a Fern’s Coins of Fortune set is made.

Unfurl Your Future

Drawn and designed while traveling France, Switzerland, and Greece, stamps are hand carved from clay.

A collection of white circular tarot or oracle cards with engraved symbols and designs, spread out on a wooden surface.

Coins are polished and glaze fired, and cotton bags are screen-printed with the unfurling fern.

Because each set is handmade, there will be variation in each one. All the sets contain 41 unique coins, a booklet, and come in a drawstring bag. Our clay types vary from a mixed recycled clay, deep reds and browns, to bone white.
